Important information regarding Edinburgh excursion: 

Excursions have been planned to Edinburgh on Saturday 20th and to Stirling and the Trossachs on Sunday 21st. An itinary has been planned for the Sunday excursion and will be circulated at the school. On Saturday 20th the coaches will leave Glasgow at 12.30pm and arrive in Edinburgh at about 1.30pm. The coaches will leave Edinburgh at about 6 pm. Participants are free to plan their own activies in Edinburgh. This may for example involve a visit to Edinburgh castle or taking in a show at the international Fringe Festival. Participants are advised to book tickets early for Fringe Festival events, directly via the festival website at http://www.edfringe.com/. Anyone wishing to stay on beyond 6pm can do so and return to Glasgow by train (at their own expense). Extra trains run between Edinburgh and Glasgow during the Festival period. The last train departs Edinburgh around midnight. Please see the Scotrail website at www.scotrail.co.uk/.
